slaves and human lives --

Most people have no idea that slavery is alive and thriving. Young children are captured and put into the sex trade. Muslim armies attack Christian villages and carry off their population as slaves. In China and elsewhere, prisoners or outcasts are killed and their organs harvested and sold. Even in the United States, aborted baby parts are harvested and sold. Nothing is sacred. People who need a transplant try not to think about where these organs come from. People at the mall try not to think about the young children and slaves who make their clothes . . . as long as the stores are full of affordable wares.
