I will never see mourning --

The Great Harlot thought her ride would never end. She deceived herself into thinking she would never have to pay for her crimes. Who knows what lies she told herself in order to believe this she would never face judgment.

This is a picture of the world. they don't think that judgment will ever come. The world thinks they can continue lying, cheating, stealing, and murdering and life will continue as it was forever. They never expect they will have to pay for their sins. They think, they hope they will get away with their crimes against others. Judgment may be slow in coming, but it will come.
