Who was Katurah? --

Flavius Josephus wrote about the sons of Keturah: “ABRAHAM after this married Keturah, by whom six sons were born to him, men of courage, and of sagacious minds” He also recounts a tale about how 2 of her sons fought with the Greek hero Hercules and the region of Africa was named for one of them named Apher (also spelled Aphra). Midian: Moses’ father-in-law Jethro was a Midianite. Later, the Midianites allied with the Moabites against Israel. These were related toIsrael. This could be viewed as a family rivalry.
