People will know we are Jesus' disciples because we love one another. --

It is a sad testimony. The church has not even tried to live up to this standard. We fight and bicker over trivial matters and then wonder why the world calls us hypocrites. We do not love one another. Many strive to gain power and honor rather than loving, serving, and preferring others in honor:

Romans 12:9-11

9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
