the slave does not remain in the house forever --

If you are still working to make yourself righteous, you are a slave. You have a choice, you can continue trying to work your way to God's graces, or you can accept the free gift of righteousness' in Jesus, and become a son. God has made a way for us to be righteous. There is no other way. If we reject God's free gift of His Son, we will remain a slave and will be thrown out of the house.

--------------------------------------------
NOTE: God gave you the most precious gift He could give you, Himself, His Beloved Son. To reject this gift is a sin and an offense to God far greater than any other. At great cost to Himself, God solved the sin problem once and for all time. To reject His gift of righteousness and to continue working to please God is a sin greater than all others combined.
