Isa. 1:6

From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing sound in it, [Only] bruises, welts, and raw wounds, Not pressed out or bandaged, Nor softened with oil. [NASB]

מִכַּף־רֶ֚גֶל וְעַד־רֹאשׁ֙ אֵין־בּ֣וֹ מְתֹ֔ם פֶּ֥צַע וְחַבּוּרָ֖ה וּמַכָּ֣ה טְרִיָּ֑ה לֹא־זֹ֙רוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א חֻבָּ֔שׁוּ וְלֹ֥א רֻכְּכָ֖ה בַּשָּֽׁמֶן

Comments

There is nothing sound in it --

Sin corrupts every part of your life. It twists and destroys everything it touches. It distorts every thought and emotion, until you believe nothing but lies. You see the truth, but you no longer believe it. You allow your emotions to control you. Guilt, anger, bitterness, resentment, fear, and frustration rule over you.
