If you are feeling anxious and concerned with the evils and troubles of the day remember these words:
"Let not your heart be troubled;
believe in God, believe also in Me. (JESUS)" (John 14:1)
"But seek ye first His kingdom and His righteousness
and all these things shall be added to you."
"Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow;
for tomorrow will care for itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:33-34)
Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your request be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Return to your rest, O my soul,
for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. (Psalm 116:7)
This is the day which the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
And finally - as the hymn says:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
